FAR/AIM ("we," "our," or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our aviation reference application collects, uses, and protects your information.

FAR/AIM is designed with privacy in mind. The app operates entirely offline after initial content download and does NOT collect, transmit, or share any personal information. All data is stored locally on your device.

FAR/AIM does not collect, store, or transmit:

• Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Location data
• Usage analytics or statistics
• Crash reports (unless you explicitly submit them through your device's system)
• Search history or reading patterns
• Any data that leaves your device

All data stored by FAR/AIM remains on your device and is used solely to:

• Display FAR and AIM content for offline reference
• Save and restore your bookmarks and highlights
• Remember your app preferences and settings
• Check for content updates (only when you manually initiate a check)

FAR/AIM downloads aviation regulations and reference materials from official U.S. government sources. When you check for updates, the app downloads the latest published content. No personal information is transmitted during this process.

Your data is stored securely on your device using industry-standard security practices. Since no personal data is transmitted to external servers, your usage information remains private and cannot be intercepted or accessed by third parties.

FAR/AIM does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The app does not contain advertisements and does not share any data with third parties.

You have complete control over your data:

• Delete all app data: Use the "Clear All Data" option in Settings to remove all downloaded content, bookmarks, and preferences
• Uninstall the app: Removing the app from your device permanently deletes all stored data
• Manage bookmarks: You can view, edit, or delete individual bookmarks at any time

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with an updated "Effective Date" at the top of this policy. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
